2. What types of wheelchair-accessible vehicles do you offer?
We offer a variety of vehicles including the Toyota Noah and Toyota Hiace, both modified for wheelchair accessibility. These vehicles feature ramps or lifts to ensure comfort and ease for passengers with mobility aids.
3. How do I use the wheelchair-accessible features in the vehicle?
When you pick up your rental, our team will provide a comprehensive tutorial on how to operate the wheelchair ramp or lift, as well as any other accessible features in the vehicle. Our owners Louisa, Brent and David ensure that you’re comfortable with the vehicle before you drive off.
4. Can I rent a vehicle for a short period, such as a weekend or an event?
Yes, we offer short-term rentals for various needs, including weekend trips, events, or short getaways. Simply let us know the dates, and we will arrange the vehicle for you.
5. Are the vehicles insured?
Yes, all our vehicles are fully insured. However, they carry a $5,000 +GST damage liability. We do offer an option to bring down the liability to $2,000 +GST by purchasing our damage liability waiver for $30 per day. Please refer to our rental terms and conditions for more details.
6. Can I use my NDIS funding to rent a wheelchair accessible vehicle?
Yes, we are a registered NDIS provider. Funding can be used providing it is prearranged. Contact us for more information on how to include this in your plan. Contact us at 07 3865 8800.
7. Are pets allowed in the vehicles?
We only allow certified working animals to travel in our vehicles, such as guide dogs or assistance animals. Other pets are not permitted to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the vehicle for all renters.
8. What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation policies and fees will depend on the length of the booking and the notice period. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full details.
9. What is included in the rental cost?
The rental cost covers the vehicle, basic insurance, and a standard allowance of 200 km per day. Additional kilometres are charged at 25 cents per kilometre. Fuel is supplied at full, and the vehicle must be returned full to avoid additional charges.
10. What if I encounter an issue with the vehicle during my rental?
